Try to familiarise yourself with this schedule before Sunday. I will give each team this info on the day so you know who you’re playing next and at what time.
We’ll be playing 6 minute halves, with 1 minute at half time and 5 minutes between each match. So, before the match finishes, the next two teams due to be on should be ready at the side of the pool waiting to get kit on and get into a boat.
The right hand column shows which team will be effectively in charge of the match. You’ll need to decide between yourselves who is keeping score (will be given scoreboard and scoresheet) , who is keeping track of the time (will be given stopwatch) and who is reffing. Each person is assigned a certain amount of points for scoring so the score keeper will be given a sheet with each players points on and you can tally up the goals.
Team 5, please can you set up both goals (before 5) so that teams 1 and 2 can get on the pitch ASAP. At the end, can team 3 please take down the goals swiftly.
Although this might sound military, it is supposed to be a fun day enjoy yourselves! There will be a prize for the winning team (sorry if you don’t like chocolate…)
If you have any questions please feel free to ask!
